Being the daughter of a U.S. Army soldier, Heather Slate-Quinlan grew up frequently moving around the U.S. and Germany. Heather received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Painting from Cameron University in 2009, where she was honored with the McMahon Scholarship. Her watercolor work has been published in the Lawton Arts and Entertainment magazine, as the cover art. She also represented The Venue OKC by drawing live at the 2010 Festival of the Arts in Oklahoma City, OK. Many of her paintings are in private collections, and her work has shown in numerous group and juried exhibitions, including the invitational show "Rags, Brushes and Imagination" at the Museum of the Great Plains, Lawton, OK and the "2017 Hot and Sweaty: the Open Show" at 500X Gallery, Dallas, TX. After living in Alberta, Canada for several years, Heather currently resides in Dallas, TX, where you may contact her to purchase artwork or commission future works.
